PHOTO DAY TIPS
📸 Picture Day Tips for a Great Photo!
👕 Clothing:
Solid colors or simple patterns photograph best—avoid very bright or neon tones.
Skip spaghetti straps, strapless tops, and logo T-shirts, as these can look awkward when cropped.
Make sure clothes are clean, wrinkle-free, and photo-ready that morning.
Collared shirts always look great. Avoid wide necklines or stretched collars.
💇 Hair:
Haircuts are best done at least a week before Picture Day. Avoid trying a brand-new style right before the day.
Pull hair away from the eyes using a clip, ponytail, or headband if needed.
Tidy up any “bed head” with a quick comb—single-use combs are available on-site.
Our photographers may make light adjustments to improve the photo but won’t style hair.
🎩 Hats:
Hats are not allowed for Fall Picture Day.
For Spring photos, hats may be worn—but it’s best not to wear them beforehand to avoid “hat hair.”
✨ Retouching:
Retouching services are available to enhance your photos. Options include light blemish removal and small flyaway hair, teeth whitening or glasses glare.
If you’re interested in braces removal, it can be added for a fee per image.
👓 Glasses:
Glasses are welcome! We’ll help position them to reduce glare.
For transition lenses, please remove them about 30 minutes before the session so your student’s eyes are clearly visible in the photo.
